DxOMark, an independent laboratory known primarily for its smartphone camera tests, also examines gadgets for sound quality, battery and screen quality. Just in the tests on the last point, the iPhone 12 recently took part, which is about to be replaced by the next generation of “apple” flagships.
Surprisingly, the smartphone screen rather disappointed the experts. The 6.1-inch OLED display of the iPhone 12 with a resolution of 2532 x 1170 pixels received 85 points, which is why the smartphone did not even make it to the top 15 of the ranking. Despite the generally identical screens, the basic version of the flagship lost 2 points to the iPhone 12 Pro and three points to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
DxOmark experts did not like the lack of smoothness of the matrix (the basic refresh rate of 60 Hz is used here), the “yellowness” of the picture and the underestimated brightness in automatic mode. Although, of course, the iPhone 12's screen is still good. It's just not good enough for a device in its price range.
Meanwhile, the yeddi robot vacuum cleaners are now on sale at great discounts.
