The partisans have collected secret information about an important facility in Russian Kaluga. We are talking about the Typhoon instrument-making plant.
In particular, data on the Bal-E complex and the Pozitiv-ME1.2 naval radar have been received. This was reported by 24 Kanal with reference to the Atesh movement.
What is Typhoon doing now?
JSC Typhoon, which has already been attacked by Ukrainian drones, is a key link in Russia's defense industry, responsible for the production and modernization of critical radar, control, and weapons systems.
Agent “Atesh” has been operating there on a permanent basis for a year and systematically transmits confidential information. The source continues to be at the enterprise, his identity has not been disclosed.
The partisan, in particular, was able to obtain information about the Bal-E complex: the configuration of the launcher, including internal communication circuits between the guidance modules and the computing center.
“The system has been partially modernized for the Kh-35UE missiles. Changes in protection against electronic warfare and adaptation of the system for deployment in non-standard conditions have also been recorded,” Atesh said.
The agent also transmitted a description of the tactical and technical characteristics of the latest modification of the ship's radar “Pozitiv-ME1.2”: range, viewing sector and number of targets simultaneously tracked, digital signal processing schemes, methods for increasing accuracy in electronic warfare conditions and internal self-diagnostics algorithms.
Documentation for prototypes of uninterruptible power supplies with a capacity of up to 1000 kilowatts, developed for Navy facilities, has also been transferred.
“During the factory testing stage, failures were recorded that were not reflected in open reports. The failures concerned the conversion units and cooling systems,” Atesh also reported.

In addition, they added that the start of work on a marine radio detection system with a modular architecture, oriented towards mobile platforms, has been recorded.
The development of an export version of the radar, declared as a “civil navigation and meteorological station”, is also ongoing. But its internal parameters indicate dual purpose.
All materials received from the source were transferred to the relevant structures of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
