Ukrainians abroad reminded the world of the criminal acts that Russia is committing in the center of Europe and the genocide against the Ukrainian people.
The Ukrainian organization in Spain, Bandera de Ucrania, held a rally in the central squares of Valencia to prevent the world from turning a blind eye to Russia’s crimes against Ukraine. The event was dedicated to the tragedy with Okhmatdyt as a result of a Russian missile attack.
This was reported in Bandera de Ucrania.
Ukrainians staged a rally in the central squares of Valencia dedicated to the tragedy at the Okhmatdyt children's hospital. About 500 people walked along the central streets with posters, Ukrainian flags calling for support for the state, providing weapons, and also noted the massive Russian attack on Kyiv, Dnieper, Krivoy Rog, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk.
The protesters chanted: “Arms to Ukraine”, “Russia is killing our children”, “Ukraine above all.” On Virgen Square, Ukrainians laid hundreds of soft toys and lit candles and honored the victims with a minute of silence. It is noted that in this way the participants of the action wanted to reach the hearts of the Spaniards and guests of the city.
Participants of the event distributed leaflets to local residents and guests of the city with news about the tragedy in Ukraine with a QR code for international donations to the official Okhmatdyt Foundation.
“Wherever we are, we are obliged to tell the world about the terrible crimes of Russia that our country experiences every day. The world has no right to turn a blind eye to our victims and the deaths of our children, because we will remind about this all the time,” said co-organizer of the event and community Bandera de Ucrania Irina Fuchadzhi.
