David Alaba completed his first team training session with Spanish record champions Real Madrid on Tuesday after surviving the corona infection. The positive test of the ÖFB team player was announced on July 28th. The club did not provide any further information. Before that, striker Karim Benzema had already given a positive corona test at Real. The new season in the Spanish league starts on August 13th.

The ÖFB star has had turbulent days. In addition to the corona infection, Alaba also wrote the royal headlines with his salary. According to a draft contract available to the German magazine Der Spiegel , the Viennese should collect a base salary of 19.47 million euros per season with Real Madrid.
