Lukashenko wants Belarus to be present at the negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko believes that he should participate in the negotiations on establishing peace in Ukraine.
This is reported by the pro-government Telegram channel “Pool of the First”
< p > “I have always insisted, and I told the Ukrainians about this, and the Russians, and warned Putin that Belarusians should be present at the negotiations on Ukraine,” Lukashenko noted.
< p > He believes that the war in Ukraine is also a problem for Belarus.
< p > “I don't want them (at the negotiations – Ed.) to decide issues, our issues – without us. Behind our backs. Yes, they won't “cut off” Polesia up to Gomel, that's not the point, but they can make decisions that tomorrow half of the country will have to be given up. They (it's not clear who we're talking about – Ukraine or the West – Ed.) are now drawing up whole schemes: they do everything. Oh, Lukashenko, no, no, he shouldn't be there,” Lukashenko said.
Earlier it was reported that Lukashenko had given permission to shoot down “Shaheds” that fly into Belarus.
