Members of the ISS-66 crew held a press conference on Monday at the Baikonur cosmodrome, on the eve of the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-19 manned transport vehicle. According to the press service of Roscosmos, the main composition of the expedition included cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko.

On the ISS, the film crew will be working on the world's first feature film shot in space, The Challenge. Peresild said that the shooting of the film will begin immediately after the separation of the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft from the launch vehicle. In addition, the member of the expedition noted that she was intrigued by how she would be able to combine the tasks of an actress and an astronaut during the flight.

“An actress should be gentle, sensitive, open and emotions should be close, but for astronauts everything should be the other way around: you need to be collected, concentrated and [show] all emotions after the flight, so let's see how we can combine this,” she explained she.

In turn, director Shipenko stressed that in four months of preparation, the film crew managed to learn the basics of astronautics at the proper level in order to go into space.
