Dubbing actor Andrei Yaroslavtsev, who had contracted the coronavirus earlier, died at the age of 65 in Moscow. His colleague Dmitry Cherevatenko wrote about this on Sunday, December 26, on his VKontakte page.

“Friends, 2021 brings not only joy, but also bitterness. Today, December 26, at the age of 65, Andrei Viktorovich Yaroslavtsev died of covid. Andrei Viktorovich was a legendary theater and film actor, a master of dubbing, ”he wrote.

The actor has voiced Albus Dumbledore from Harry Potter, Gimli from The Lord of the Rings, Optimus Prime from Transformers and other characters. In total, during his career, Yaroslavtsev voiced about 240 films.

Yaroslavtsev was born on August 6, 1957 in Moscow, after graduating from school he entered the Shchukin Theater School, which he graduated in 1978. In the same year he was admitted to the group of the Vakhtangov Theater, later he decided to try himself in dubbing.

On December 24, at the age of 96, Soviet and Russian theater and film actor Vladimir Tatosov died. It is known that the People's Artist of the RSFSR had an oncological disease, which worsened against the background of coronavirus infection.
