The Kursk group has been increased to more than 35 thousand people.
Russian occupiers have launched a counteroffensive in the Kursk region. The Russian Armed Forces are acting in four directions at once.
This was reported by the coordinator of the “Information Resistance” group, military expert Alexander Kovalenko.
“In the second month of the Kursk operation, the ROV launched actions similar to what can be called a counteroffensive. In fact, having increased the Kursk group to more than 35 thousand people. The command decided that this number would be enough for them to displace (Ukrainian forces – ed.) from the Kursk region,” the expert wrote.
According to his data, the movement of Russians began in the area of the settlements Apanasovka-Snagost, Zhuravli-Kalinov, Pogrebki and Borki. Thus, the ROVs are acting from four directions at once.
“In general, the ROVs are currently observing a quantitative advantage in the KO area, but this has always been the case, for their part, limited use of artillery and a reduction in KAB strikes. The next 24 hours will show what this counteroffensive can ultimately result in,” the expert noted.
Recall that Ukrainian analysts DeepState reported that the Russians have begun an active assault in the Kursk region.
