Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Leo Bokeria: the human soul is in the circulatory system

President of the Bakulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, President of the All-Russian public organization “League of the Health of the Nation”, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Leo Bokeria identified the location of the human soul. He shared his opinion in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“I am often asked where the soul is. I say that it is in the circulatory system. When the circulatory system stops, then it leaves, ”the cardiologist said.
In a recent interview, Bockeria revealed a way to reach 100 years old. He described movement and a kind view of the world as conditions that will help ensure longevity. “I'm not saying that you need to forgive everyone, just protect yourself from unnecessary people. Well, and most importantly, I believe that this is a focus on life, ”said the doctor.
Earlier, Bokeria advised those who had been ill with COVID-19 to read aloud for 15 minutes every hour. According to the academician, such an exercise helps to restore the respiratory muscles after an illness. “I have a method, maybe someone will hear me. I have recommended to many of my friends, acquaintances, when they got sick, to read any text aloud for 15 minutes. You can even read the description of the refrigerator, so it’s not so disgusting, ”he stressed.
