After World War II, a girl 140 centimeters tall became a sniper and fought in the Israeli War of Independence.

In New York, at the age of 97, the famous US sex therapist, television and radio presenter writer Ruth Westheimer died. She was buried with a washcloth.

Russian BILD writes about this.

As they say, the woman was born in 1928 in Germany into a Jewish family. Her parents and almost all relatives were killed in concentration camps. They managed to transport the ten-year-old girl to Switzerland, which saved her life. When her mother said goodbye to her at the Frankfurt am Main station, she gave her a washcloth with her maiden initials K. S. (Carola Siegel).

“I never let her out of my hands again and I will take her with me to the grave. This is all I have,” Westheimer admitted in an interview with BILD.

After World War II, a girl 140 centimeters tall became a sniper and fought in the Israeli War of Independence, and was wounded near Jerusalem. In compensation from the German authorities of 5,000 marks, she emigrated to the USA, where she began studying psychology, working as a sex therapist, and appearing on radio and television.

“Until her last days, she loved dolls and soft toys. She lived in New York, but often returned to Frankfurt am Main as the city of her childhood,” the publication said.
