A well-known political scientist called the plan “B” for Ukrainian diplomacy in order to more effectively receive assistance from the West

Political scientist and publicist Andriy Piontkovsky is convinced that Ukrainian diplomacy should pursue two lines in negotiations with partners.

He believes that the EU and NATO are paralyzed about the ability to effectively help Ukraine, so we need to move on to plan “B”.

Piontkovsky spoke about this in an interview with HB.

According to him, Ukrainian diplomats must follow two lines in negotiations with allies:

  1. first– relying on undisputed friends in America, Blinken and Austin, to achieve the full implementation of the American lend-lease law,
  2. second – to start serious conversations with our European allies.

“The EU and NATO are paralyzed as far as possible to effectively help Ukraine – paralyzed by the principle of unanimity, because four members of these organizations play on the side of Putin. There is a need for a new organization. Another thing is what this organization will do. I may be wrong, but as far as I understand, the mood in these countries is such that they are ready to provide Ukraine with more decisive assistance than just the supply of weapons,” he said.

The political scientist believes the UK needs a “coalition of ready”. Countries that are really ready to decisively help Ukraine. These are England, Slovakia, Romania, Poland.< /p>

“What can they ? They can send their aircraft into the skies of Ukraine for protection if America and NATO are not ready. The aviation of these four countries and plus the Ukrainian aviation – I think, together this surpasses the Russian aviation, and they would be able to gain air supremacy thereby deciding the outcome of the war, regardless of whether there will be those Lend-Lease delays that confuse us so much or not. will. It seems to me that now is the time to consider this “plan B” very seriously,” he said.

In the same interview, Piontkowski explained why France and Germany are afraid of a Ukrainian victory.
