A Ukrainian is suspected of killing a family.
A Ukrainian citizen was detained in Poznan on suspicion of murdering his wife and two young children. We are talking about a 42-year-old man who, under still unclear circumstances, killed his 29-year-old wife and two children aged 1.5 and 4.5 years.
Ukrinform writes about this with reference to the representative of the District Prosecutor's Office in Poznan, Lukasz Wawrzyniak, and the Consul General of Ukraine in Wroclaw, Yuriy Tokar.
“I confirm that a person has been detained – the father of two girls and the husband of the woman whose bodies we discovered. Autopsies on the bodies of the three dead will be carried out today. We plan to interrogate this man. The man, woman and children are Ukrainians,” Wawrzyniak said.
According to the prosecutor, the Ukrainian family had been in Poznan since 2019, they lived in a private house.
According to Polish authorities, this family was considered prosperous, the man was engaged in business. As Polish media wrote, a family tragedy occurred on Saturday, November 18, in the suburbs of Poznan.
