On Saturday, January 15, at about 5:45 p.m., a truck and a passenger car collided in the Vyshgorod territorial community near Kiev.
– A 66-year-old driver of a Honda car, working as a doctor, made a trip to the main road from the cottage town of Mezhdurechye. The MAZ truck was moving from Vyshgorod towards the village of Hotyanovka. The passenger car did not provide priority in traffic and collided with a truck, the police of the Kiev region said in a statement.
The department clarified that as a result of the accident, the doctor who was driving the passenger car and his 11-year-old daughter were injured.
Both victims were taken to a medical facility.
The girl subsequently died from her injuries. The mother of the child and the 28-year-old truck driver were not injured, the report said.
It is specified that the investigation department of the Kiev region police is working at the scene. After finding out all the circumstances of the accident, law enforcement officers will establish the legal qualification of the accident.
