A teenager died in the village of Korolyovka, Makariv community in the Kiev region. He was trying to dismantle the weapon.

Teenager killed in Kyiv region
Previously, a teenager born in 2006 found a military weapon and tried to take it apart. This caused an explosion. The guy died, – said the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
He added that law enforcement officers, rescuers and other services were working on the spot. Kuleba urged people to:
- stumble upon a suspicious object, do not touch it, do not try to disassemble or move this thing;
- immediately notify the Rescue Service at 101.
“There are still dangerous uncleared areas in the region. Every day, pyrotechnicians discover a large number of explosive objects,” Kuleba explained.

General Andrei Nebitov also commented on the tragedy.
Sudden shot, mutilated body and all. This tragedy can no longer be “rewinded”. Near Makarov, a 15-year-old boy found an explosive device, undertook to brag, tried it in action and died a terrible death, the general wrote.
He added that now, when the country is at war with the invader and weapons have become our constant companion , the safety of its use should be a key rule.
Nebitov also appealed to parents and all relatives and friends of the younger generation.
“Teach children not to touch weapons, avoid explosive objects, report any suspicious finds. Remember, guns are not toys! Simple safety rules save lives!” – said Nesbitov.
Accident with Ukrainians near Melitopol: what is known
