The police in Ivano-Frankivsk region announced the escape from custody of a resident of Lviv, suspected of fraud. The man disappeared from the courtroom.
According to the police, the suspect disappeared after extending his preventive measure. The court made a decision on further detention.
Currently, law enforcement officers are looking for the fugitive and ask citizens to help find out the whereabouts of a man born in 1984.
On the fact of the flight, the prosecutor's office opened criminal proceedings under part 1 Article 393 (Escape from a place of imprisonment or from custody) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for imprisonment from three to five years.
In addition, the man is suspected under part 2 of Article 15 (Attempted criminal offense), parts 2 and 3 of article 190 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
< p> A resident of the Lviv region faces imprisonment for at least three to eight years, according to current legislation.
The police asked citizens to call special line 102 if the whereabouts of the suspect became known.
