A stormy wind hit China with gusts of more than 40 meters per second
A stormy wind hit northwest China. In places its gusts exceeded forty meters per second, MIR 24 reports.
In the city of Urumqi, the storm raged most of all. There, the signs of several shops were torn off, and people simply could not move. An attempt by a police officer to get to his checkpoint was caught on a CCTV camera. Time after time the wind threw him back until his partner came to the rescue.
