A Soyuz rocket was installed at the Baikonur launch site
The Soyuz-2 launch vehicle is installed on the launch pad of the Baikonur cosmodrome. This was reported on the Roscosmos website.
On Wednesday morning, the carrier rocket with the Fregat upper stage and 38 spacecraft was taken to the launch complex of the site No. 31.
After the docking of communications, autonomous tests of all systems and assemblies of spacecraft will be performed.
The rocket launch is expected on March 20. A few hours before the scheduled launch, a meeting of the State Commission will take place, at which decisions will be made on refueling the rocket with propellants and the exact time of launch.
Note that for the first time in several decades, the Soyuz-2 launch vehicle is presented in a new design. The rocket is painted in white and blue instead of the standard gray-orange colors.
