The experiments are first planned to be carried out on mice, and after six years – with a human embryo.
A Dutchman who studies sex in outer space plans to conceive a child in space.
The Russian BILD writes about this.
As it became known, the 48-year-old founder of Spaceborn United, Egbert Edelbrück, who studies sex in outer space, set out to organize conception and birth in zero gravity.
“If you want autonomous human settlements outside the Earth, so that they are truly autonomous, you need to solve the reproductive problem,” the scientist said.
According to him, the difficulty of space sex is that all the fluids in the body move up, not down. In addition, there is a high level of radiation in space.
Therefore, Spaceborn United wants to conduct an experiment on mice first. Research is currently being carried out in a low gravity laboratory on Earth. At the end of 2024, they will begin working with mouse reproduction, and in about five to six years – with human embryos. Scientists want to conceive him in space using a special apparatus for mixing cells, then freeze him and return him to Earth, and then transplant the woman.
Let us recall that a woman kicked her pregnant 17-year-old daughter out of the house and was puzzled by the reason.
