In Vietnam, a fifth grader died after his cell phone exploded during an online class. Reported by the Daily Star.
On the afternoon of October 14, the student was at an online lesson, to which he connected from the phone. The smartphone was charging. At some point, the gadget suddenly exploded and set fire to the Vietnamese's clothes.
Presumably, at that moment the boy was at home alone, because neighbors came to his aid. They put the fifth grader in the car and took him to the hospital. He died on the way, shortly before arriving at the hospital.
The model of the phone that exploded was not reported. The boy's parents asked the police to stop investigating the case.
Earlier it was reported that in the city of Nan, the administrative center of the province of the same name in northern Thailand, a man died in his own bed while playing on a mobile phone connected to a charger. The body of the Thai was sent for a posthumous examination.
