He stated that he did not remember how he made the trip.

A citizen of Russia and Israel flew from Europe to the west coast of the United States without a ticket, passport, visa or any record of being on the flight.

This is reported by the Independent.

According to court documents, Sergei Ochigava flew from Copenhagen on a Scandian Airlines flight and landed at Los Angeles International Airport on November 4 without any identification documents or a boarding pass.

In addition, Customs and Border Protection officers in California discovered that he was not listed on the passenger manifest for the flight from Denmark or any other flights to the States.

The incident report states that “most” of the crew noticed Ochigawa because he was “wandering around the aircraft and constantly changing seats.” He also requested two meals a day at every meal and “once tried to eat chocolate that belonged to the flight attendants.”

The crew members did not see his boarding pass and noted that the seat he first occupied during boarding should have been empty.

“Some crew members carried out recalculation in specific areas, but only to ensure that the aircraft was balanced during takeoff and landing. They did not calculate the numbers,” the report says.

How a Russian managed to get from Denmark to the US is under investigation by the FBI, and an agent confirms that a suspect accused of secretly escaping on a plane is in custody, Fox News reports.

The agent who filed the complaint, Caroline Walling, wrote that Ochigawa claimed that he “had not slept for three days and did not understand what was happening.”

He “stated that he may have had a plane ticket to come to the United States, but he wasn't sure” and “did not remember getting on the plane in Copenhagen.” He also had trouble remembering how he got through security at the Danish airport, she added.

During the interview, officers reviewed the photos on his device. The final frame featured “screens displaying information about flights flying around the world (including Amsterdam, Munich, Lisbon, Malaga, London, etc.),” the report said.

A spokesman for Copenhagen Airport confirmed that a man was on the flight, despite the fact that he did not have a ticket or passport. “Through our observations, we see that he entered without a valid ticket. Copenhagen Airport has provided photo and video footage to authorities who are investigating this matter. We take this matter very seriously and it will be included in our ongoing work to adjust and strengthen our policies for increasing safety.”

Recall that in Russia children were given certificates with the coat of arms and flag of Ukraine. The parents were hysterical.
