The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket, which was decorated under Khokhloma, will take place at 03:00 Moscow time on 28 October. On October 25, the rocket will be taken to the launch site of Baikonur, reports the radio “Moscow speaking” with reference to “Roskosmos”.
The launch vehicle will launch the Progress MS-18 cargo vehicle into orbit. Its docking with the ISS is expected on October 30.
Earlier, the state corporation published on its website images of the package of the first and second stages of the rocket, on which stickers with Khokhloma patterns were visible. In addition, symbols in honor of the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod were seen there.
Let us recall that on October 17 the Soyuz MS-18 spacecraft with actress Yulia Peresild, director Klim Shipenko and cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky on board successfully landed on Earth. Peresild and Shipenko stayed at the station for 12 days, during which the “cinema crew” filmed footage for the film “Challenge” in orbit. The film tells the story of a woman doctor who is preparing for a flight into space on a tight schedule to carry out an emergency operation for an astronaut.
On October 22, it became known that the actors and the astronaut had completed a course of rehabilitation to the conditions of the Earth.
