A resident of the Federal Republic of Germany came to Russia with his family to be vaccinated with Sputnik V
An employee of the insurance company Stefan Heilemann from Germany flew with his family to Russia for the Sputnik V vaccine, according to the German publication Focus .
Heilemann is sure that the Russian vaccine is the best of all that exists today. The German figured out in detail the existing drugs.
“Of course, I thought it over and studied the information about different vaccines and their mechanisms of action. I prefer vector vaccines, but mRNA-based drugs are somehow not to my liking. Therefore, I made a decision in favor of Sputnik, – explained the German.
Heilemann also talked about some of the side effects after vaccination. He felt overwhelmed, the temperature was elevated. However, in the morning all systems passed.
In conclusion, Heilemann acknowledged that life in Russia is now more pleasant than in Germany. There are far fewer restrictive measures in effect in the Russian Federation. “All shops and restaurants are open, we could move freely,” he said.
Earlier, the head of the German Standing Commission for Vaccinations (STIKO) at the Robert Koch Institute, Thomas Mertens, praised Sputnik V. According to him, the Russian drug is very cleverly built. Mertens expressed confidence that the Russian vaccine will soon be approved for use in the EU.
On August 11, 2020, Russia was the first in the world to register a coronavirus vaccine, dubbed Sputnik V. The drug was developed by the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N.F. Gamaleya, and is currently registered in more than 40 countries. Sputnik V is a human adenovirus-based vector vaccine.
