On the island of Mindanao, located in the southern part of Philippines , rescued a 3-year-old girl who had been under the rubble caused by a landslide for 60 hours. She was among dozens of missing people. Currently, the total death toll has risen to 27.

The girl was found as rescuers searched for survivors with their hands and shovels in the village of Masara on the southern island of Mindanao.
Emergency management agency spokesman Edward Makapili said the girl's father saw his child before he was taken to a medical facility.
The landslide occurred on the evening of February 6, it destroyed houses and swallowed three buses and a jeep, which were supposed to pick up workers from the “gold mines”.
Due to the mountainous terrain, heavy rainfall and massive deforestation from mining, landslides are common on the islands of the archipelago.
In recent weeks, rainfall has increased in some areas of Mindanao. This led to dozens of landslides and floods.
Hundreds of families from Masara and four nearby villages had to evacuate their homes and take shelter in emergency centers due to fears of more landslides.
Schools have suspended classes.
