Rugged smartphones rarely get good cameras, and “photo smartphones” never have serious protection at all. A rare exception to this rule is the new Bison Pro from Umidigi.
The body of the model complies with the IP68 / IP69K certification, which means that the gadget is absolutely not afraid of dust, is able to withstand immersion in water and even high-temperature pressure washing. The main camera of the smartphone received a powerful 48-megapixel main sensor from Sony, complemented by a 16-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide-angle optics with a viewing angle of 117 degrees and a 5-megapixel macro sensor with a shooting distance of 2.5 centimeters.
The front camera is also quite decent – 24MP with a Sony sensor. Umidigi Bison Pro has a 6.3-inch Full HD + 2340 x 1080 pixels screen, MediaTek Helio G80 processor, 4 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory. A 5000 mAh battery with support for 18 W fast charging is responsible for the autonomy of the smartphone.
And yesterday a large 8K holographic 3D monitor was unveiled.
