Freight trains had to be stopped on this section of the railway.

On Saturday, September 28, an explosion occurred on a railway bridge near the city of Kinel in the Samara region of Russia.

The moment of the explosion was captured on surveillance video, which is published in Russian Telegram channels.

As can be seen in the published footage, at that time a freight train with tanks was passing through the bridge. However, it did not derail, and the explosion did not damage the tracks.

At the same time, eyewitnesses claim that the explosion was so powerful that it set off car alarms in a neighboring village.

The government of the Russian region reported that as a result of the incident, “safety islands” on the bridge were damaged, and no information about casualties was received.

The Kuibyshev Railway clarified that “due to illegal interference by outsiders in the operation of rail transport,” the movement of freight trains on this section of the railway was stopped.

Recall that earlier in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, bordering Ukraine, a freight train derailed after an explosion on railway.
