The Taiwanese company ASUS has launched the Russian sales of a new rugged laptop ExpertBook B5. The case of the model complies with the American military standard MIL-STD-810G, which means that the laptop is able to withstand pressure and temperature changes, vibration, shaking and other hardships and adversities.
The laptop is available at a price of 66,990 rubles. Autonomy ASUS ExpertBook B5 is 14 hours. Support for fast charging is provided – from 0 to 60% in just 39 minutes. The top and bottom panels of the laptop are made of pure aluminum, while the area around the keyboard is made of magnesium-aluminum alloy. Thanks to this, the weight of the device is only 1 kilogram, and the thickness is 16.9 millimeters.
The top version uses an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, up to 48GB DDR4 RAM and a PCIe 3.0 SSD up to 2TB. The notebook is equipped with Intelligent Noise Canceling technology, which improves the quality of voice communications.
Meanwhile, Yandex has taught a smart camera to recognize food, cars and equations.
