In the Kiev region, a police officer committed a fatal accident, the victims of which were two young men.
According to the press service of the National Police of the Kiev region, the accident occurred at about 23.00 Saturday, December 4.
It is known that the 32-year-old policeman, driving his own Volkswagen Passat, was driving in the direction of the populated point Novye Petrivtsi.
At some point he collided with a ZAZ-Tavria passenger car. A ZAZ passenger died at the scene of the accident. He was 23 years old.
A 23-year-old driver of a ZAZ car and a 22-year-old passenger were hospitalized in the hospital. Subsequently, the girl died as a result of her injuries.
The Volkswagen policeman has already been detained. Now law enforcement officers are finding out whether he was intoxicated at the time of the accident. To do this, he was taken to a medical institution for examination.
The State Bureau of Investigation officers are engaged in clarifying the circumstances of the accident.
At the same time, the Main Directorate of the National Police will conduct an official investigation into the accident.
On December 1, a fatal accident occurred on the Dnepropetrovskoe highway in Krivoy Rog: a GAZ truck knocked down two pedestrians standing in the area of the median strip and fled the scene. As a result of an accident, a 33-year-old woman died on the spot, and her 5-year-old son was taken by an ambulance.

Recently, in the city of Kamenskoye, Dnepropetrovsk region, a car ran into four pedestrians: two women and two children. A mother died at the scene of the accident, and then her three-year-old son died in the hospital. A 9-year-old girl and a 65-year-old woman were taken to the hospital.
