As it became known, the plane crashed near the village of Lipowe in the Silesian Voivodeship a few minutes after takeoff. It belonged to the local flying club.
“By nine o'clock in the morning, firefighters received a message about a plane crash in Lipovaya. Several fire brigades went to the scene. The fire had to be put out because the plane burst into flames after hitting the ground,” the fire service noted. < /p>
The plane itself was flown by a 75-year-old man. He died from his injuries. Services are working at the scene under the supervision of the prosecutor. The case is also being investigated by the State Aircraft Accident Investigation Commission.
