Retired woman in India drowned a child to heal her husband from illness

A pensioner in India sacrificed her husband's nephew's six-month-old baby to heal her husband from illness, writes India Today.
The incident took place in Pattukottai (Tamil Nadu state). The uncle of a married 32-year-old local named Asaruddin suffered from various diseases. The pensioner recently returned from abroad. His wife Sharmila Begum decided to help her husband and turned to the “medicine man.” He advised the woman to kill the child without spilling his blood to save the man.
The pensioner kidnapped a six-month-old baby from her nephew's house and drowned him in a basin.
In June in London, a 19-year-old boy killed two sisters to win the lottery. Later, a handwritten document was found in his house, which allegedly was a contract between the British and the devil, according to which the guy was supposed to sacrifice women.
