Exercises are being held in Lithuania and Poland.
More than 10 NATO countries are simultaneously conducting military exercises in Poland and Lithuania, 10 km from the border with Belarus.
This is reported by Defense Express.
In Iron exercises wolftaking place in Lithuania, in addition to the military of this country, the forces of nine other member countries of the Alliance, in particular Germany, Norway, Great Britain and the United States, take part. The number of participants in the exercises is 3.5 thousand soldiers and 700 pieces of equipment.
Note that the exercises in Lithuania continue in the town of Pabrad, 10 km from the border with Belarus. Judging by photo exercises, the military can work out the actions of mechanized units in the forests, as well as actions in urban areas.
At the same time, near the Polish city of RzeszowPuma military exercises are underway. Note that this city has become an important logistics hub for the transfer of weapons to Ukraine. The armies of Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary, as well as some units from the UK and the USA, take part in the training.
A separate element of these exercises will be a march passing through Rzeszow to practice movement in dense urban areas.

Russian threat to NATO countries
Recall that earlier NATO announced annual nuclear exercises from 17 to 30 October Steadfast Noon. The 14 member states of the North Atlantic Alliance were supposed to take part in the exercises.
At the same time, Russia is preparing to conduct its own exercises, usually held at the end of October. It is planned to test nuclear bombers, submarines and missiles.
According to Ukrainian diplomat Roman Bessmertny, the current creation of a regional group of troops in Belarus together with the Russian Federation poses a threat not only to Ukraine. This group can be created to attack the Baltic and Scandinavian states. According to the politician, Russia can attack Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
