The authors of the publication MCV / Develop interviewed the employees of CCP Games, during which it turned out that the developers of the popular space simulator EVE Online are preparing a shooter in the same universe.
At the moment, the project does not have an official code name, but it turned out that development has already begun and is actively moving forward. This is hinted at by the fact that an ex-employee of a number of studios, including Splash Damage, EA, Ubisoft and Square Enix, Andrian Blunt, has joined the development team of the upcoming shooter. He noted that this project is ambitious and moreover, it can “change the genre”.
Interestingly, before industry veteran Andrian Blunt joined the team, the shooter went through a post-production stage. However, even in this form, the game was able to impress Blunt enough to join the development.
