Commenting on gas leaks in the Nord Stream 1 pipelines and Nord Stream 2, Latvia announced the possible start of a new phase of the hybrid war.
Latvia is also ready to support the investigation of the gas leak in any way.
About this Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics said on the Web.
The minister noted that the alleged sabotage of pipelines should be classified as the most serious security and environmental incident in the Baltic Sea.
“Latvia stands in solidarity with Denmark and is ready to support the investigation in any way. It seems that we are entering a new phase of hybrid war“, Rinkevics said in a message.
Recall, on September 26, Denmark reported a gas leak from an idle pipeline Nord Stream 2 and the Nord Stream 1 pipeline. A leak was recorded in the Baltic Sea off the coast of Bornholm Island.
A number of states, including Russia, said that sabotage could be the cause of the accidents. False flag sabotage is not ruled out.
