Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov announced the deployment of a network of volunteer formations of territorial communities (DFTG).
Already now, everyone can join in the construction of checkpoints, blocking the movement of columns of enemy equipment, and perform other tasks set by the command of the Troop Forces in their area or region, using their own weapons.
To get a serious defensive weapon, the DFTG must be properly formalized, and also involved in a single action plan. To create a DFTG in your village, town, community, the algorithm is as follows:
- the initiative group, together with the head of the local self-government body, submits a proposal to the commander of the corresponding unit of the Troop Forces (battalion, brigade), which operates on your territory. The addresses of the subsections can be checked on the website of the Forces of Troops – www.sprotyv.in.ua.
- On the basis of the initiative shown, the Commander of the Troop Forces makes a decision on the creation of the DFTG and the appointment of a commander.
- This decision is approved by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. He also decides to provide the DFTG with certain types of weapons.
Reznikov added that the DFTG network will be an important factor in countering hostile saboteurs, and will also disrupt the logistics of the invaders. This is a huge contribution to the overall victory.
