The date of execution and the identity of the accused have not been disclosed.

On Sunday, March 3, Iran announced the execution of an Israeli foreign service agent Mossad intelligence, which was allegedly involved in an attack on a weapons factory, in particular for Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.

The Times of Israel reports this with reference to Iranian state media.

According to Iranian state television, the executed man “planned to blow up the Defense Ministry workshop complex in Isfahan under the leadership of a Mossad intelligence officer.”

The date of execution and the identity of the accused have not been disclosed.

At the end of January 2023, a Ministry of Defense ammunition plant near the Iranian metropolis of Isfahan was attacked by several drones. This enterprise produced weapons for Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.

Isfahan is also a well-known center of the Iranian missile industry, where they assemble the Shahab medium-range missiles, which have a range capable of hitting Israel.

Iran then said that Israel was behind the attack. The Wall Street Journal also reported that Israel was behind the attacks, citing “people familiar with the operation.”

Last August, Iran said it had foiled a “very complex” Mossad-initiated project to “sabotage” its ballistic missile production.

In January 2024, Iran hanged four members of the Kurdish minority on charges of spying for Israel. They were convicted of collaborating with Israel to sabotage an Iranian defense facility in Isfahan.

Recall that the spiritual leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, supported the bloody attack of Hamas terrorists on Israel.
