35-year-old Laura from Avon told representatives of the educational lottery of North Carolina that her boyfriend put in her beloved Christmas stocking < strong>$5 lottery ticket. But the woman didn't get the gift until after Christmas.
“This was given to me by my boyfriend in a Christmas stocking. We had to do it late because I was out of town,” Laura said.
A ticket purchased from the Askins Creek Store in Avon was a winning ticket, worth $150,000.
“When I was washing (the scratch coating on the ticket – ed.) , I thought: “I’m almost sure that I did it wrong.” I think I was just shocked,” the woman shared her memories.
Then she slowly realized that she really won the jackpot.
< p>“The first thing I did was drink tequila”, Laura admitted.
She added that this win would allow her to pay for her truck.
Recall that earlier in Massachusetts, a man bought six lottery tickets and guessed the winning numbers on each of them. In total, the man won almost 2 million dollars. plus 20 annual payments of $25,000
