The Ministry of Digital Development has launched a mobile application System-112 of the Republic of Kalmykia, with the help of which users will be able to promptly report an emergency situation and call the necessary emergency services, the ministry's press service said on Friday.
“The application has a wide functionality, as well as a convenient and simple interface: by pressing the button in the center of the screen, you can call the dispatcher of the system-112. If you witness an incident, for example, a fire, an accident, a crime, you can use the” Report Incident “function. It will be enough to briefly describe the situation, indicate the address, whether there are victims and send this message, and the dispatchers of the system-112 will send the necessary emergency operational services to the scene, “the message says.
Also on the interactive map provided a search for the nearest emergency services. For example, you can find the address of hospitals, fire departments, police departments, EDDS. When choosing an institution, its name, exact address and contact phone number are displayed on the map. In addition, the mobile application has a section on first aid methods and actions in various emergencies.
The application “System-112 of the Republic of Kalmykia” is available for download in the online store Google Play and the APP Store at the request of “112 Kalmykia”, the department added.
“Sometimes the life and health of our fellow countrymen may depend on the speed of contacting the necessary emergency services. We continue to pay special attention to the digital development of the region and the comfort of our residents,” the head of Kalmykia, Batu Khasikov, wrote on his Instagram account.
