A man and a woman found a ticket they forgot about.
Family a couple from Prince George, British Columbia, Canada, played the lottery and hit the jackpot, but were left without winning due to their slowness.

Dan and Cerise Lewis were tidying up their bedroom when they saw a box of leftover Christmas items. Among the things, the couple found an instant lottery ticket.
Dan checked the ticket again and found that Cerise had erased all three characters. This meant they won a $100,000 prize. However, their joy was short-lived.
The woman used her mobile phone to check the ticket through the lottery app and learned that it had expired five days ago. Not losing hope, the couple called the lottery headquarters to see if they had a chance of winning. They explained the situation and specified the amount of the prize due to them. The operator asked them to wait, then told them that when the ticket expired, there was nothing that could be done.
The couple checked the ticket again at the store, but it was again expired.
“We saw that we had won 100 thousand dollars and thought that we could solve all our problems and get out of debt. But after a few minutes we found that we had not won anything,” the woman complained.
Recall a resident of the British city of Kitley, West Yorkshire hit the jackpot. However, later on he was sued for stealing sneakers.
