MOSCOW, June 23. / TASS /. The neural network developed by Beeline helped the Lisa Alert search and rescue team find a man missing in the forest, said George Held, executive vice president of digital and new business development, Beeline.
“Thanks to our neural network, which Lisa Alert uses in almost all searches, a missing elderly man was miraculously rescued in June,” Held said, speaking at the Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (CIPR) conference.
He noted that the AI-technology for recognizing objects in a photo of the area “Beeline AI – People Search” works on the basis of convolutional neural networks. Thanks to her, the squad finds at least one missing person every week.
According to Held, it would take hours and days to find an object in hundreds of frames from the drone, while the neural network did it in a few minutes.
“In 2020 alone, artificial intelligence” reviewed “650 thousand images, accompanied the Lisa Alert squad in 15 thousand search tracks, analyzed the territory of 330 thousand square kilometers,” he summed up.
