A man attacked passers-by with a knife in the station area in Frankfurt, Germany, three people were seriously injured. This is reported by the local newspaper Frankfurter Rundschau.
There are four victims in total. The wounded were hospitalized, the attacker was detained – he was also injured during the incident. The area of the main city station is cordoned off.
Local authorities told reporters that the suspect was a man, and the rest of the information about his personality, which was given by the media, was called premature. So, it was preliminary denied the message that the offender was in a state of drug intoxication.
In addition, it is not yet clear what caused the attack – whether the victims were in any way connected to each other or the attacker attacked the first passers-by that came along.
