The shark killed an Australian tourist right in front of terrified vacationers on a crowded beach in Noumea, New Caledonia.
The incident occurred on Sunday, February 19, when authorities reported that a 59-year-old man the shark attacked around 4:10 pm while he was swimming about 150 meters from the shore.
