On Thursday, July 25, in the Canadian province of Alberta, firefighters tried to contain a huge forest fire that had already burned part of the tourist city of Jasper.

The town of Jasper is located in the middle of a national park that attracts more than 2 million tourists a year. A massive wildfire prompted evacuations as officials estimated 15,000 visitors were in the park.
