Mi-2 helicopter with two people on board crashed in Udmurtia

Not far from Izhevsk, a Mi-2 helicopter crashed with two people on board. This is reported by TASS with reference to the aviation services.

According to Interfax, the crash occurred in the Yakshur-Badinsky district of Udmurtia. A pilot and a passenger were on board during the crash; their fate has not yet been reported. Mi-2 belonged to a local contractor company, the ship flew around the oil pipeline.

According to TASS, the plane took off from Kazan. Rescuers moved to the crash site.

On December 10, a Robinson R66 helicopter crashed in Khakassia. Only the pilot was on board then, he died. It is assumed that he followed from Novokuznetsk and was supposed to pick up passengers from Lake Karakol. The wreckage of the aircraft was found near the reservoir.

For preliminary reasons, which were established by the Investigative Committee, the crash could have been due to bad weather, pilot error or breakdown.
