In Spain, police detained two men who ran a Christmas lottery, the prize of which was a basket containing drugs and ham, according to BBC News.

Officers raided a drug den in the city of Murcia, during which they detained a Spaniard and an Argentine. They found that the criminals organized two lotteries – for Christmas and for Epiphany – whose participants could win a “drug basket”, which contained cocaine, hashish, alcohol, tobacco and an eight-kilogram ham. On the wall was a list of the participants in the drawing. Tickets for the first narcotological gallery cost five euros, and for the second, 10 euros.

Earlier it became known that the food delivery service Uber Eats will begin delivering marijuana to customers in Ontario, Canada. The company said the new option would help curb illegal trade in the country and allow Canadians to buy safe and legal cannabis. Uber has announced that it will list seller Tokyo Smoke on its Uber Eats marketplace. Users will be able to place orders to buy drugs in the app and then pick up the package at the nearest retailer's store.
