A group of American investigators said they were able to identify the serial killer of the Zodiac, who operated from the early 60s to the early 70s.
A team of The Case Breakers, consisting of more than forty former police investigators, managed to find out new circumstances: in their opinion, the killer was operating in an area much larger than previously thought. They claim that the Zodiac has committed murders hundreds of miles from the scene of other crimes.
Investigators said they had uncovered the identity of the killer and revealed his name. According to them, it turned out to be a certain Gary Francis Post, who died in 2018. They figured it out from the scars on his face.
The police said the investigation is still ongoing. FBI officers assisting in the investigation also denied the allegations.
