A girl from the American state of Hawaii found a message in a bottle that was sent 37 years ago by members of a science club at a Japanese school. This was reported by the UPI news agency.

Nine-year-old Abbie Graham came to Hawaiian Paradise Park with her family and found a bottle lying in the mud on the beach. The girl was sure that she had found the treasure, while her parents were skeptical about the find and decided that it was ordinary rubbish.

“After a couple of days we opened it and found out that it had a message from Japan,” says Abby. The bottle contained a note from members of the school science club. The text has been duplicated in English, Spanish and Japanese.

“This bottle was thrown into the sea off the coast of the Japanese city of Chchi in July 1984,” the message said. Its authors asked the finder to contact the club and report where the bottle was found. They explained that they had abandoned her in order to study ocean currents.

The family clarified that they have not yet been able to contact the authors of the message. “We searched online, but the site is in Japanese, so we couldn't read anything. In the end, we decided to laminate the note and send it to the school's address on the note, ”John said. He suggested that now the senders of the bottle should be about 50-55 years old.

Earlier it was reported that a resident of the American state of Michigan found a letter in a bottle, lying at the bottom of 95 years, and fulfilled the request of the man who sent it. She posted a message about the find on social networks and contacted the sender's daughter.
