The State Archives of Russia has prepared the exhibition “More than an Archive. To the 100th anniversary of the State Archives of the Russian Federation ”, to which visitors, in particular, were shown a fragment of the skull of the Fuhrer of the Third Reich, Adolf Hitler. It is reported by “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.
In addition to a part of the skull, at the exhibition, which opened in Moscow, you can also see materials about the secret investigation into the death of Hitler and the Nazi concentration camps. In addition, there are the shoulder straps of General Alexei Brusilov, the dress of the ballerina Matilda Kshesinskaya, the draft flag of the RSFSR, which was developed in 1947, as well as the bullets and bayonets that killed members of the family of the Russian Emperor Nicholas II in 1918.
In total, the temporary exhibition covers more than 200 years of the country's history. It will be open from December 4, 2020 to January 31, 2021.
In late November, it was reported that archaeologists in Argentina had examined a secret hideout 600 miles north of Buenos Aires, believed to be for the leaders of Nazi Germany. It was noted that in the buildings they found a common photo of Adolf Hitler and Italian dictator Benito Mussolini on a walk, as well as a 1940 box with gold coins that were made in Germany during the Second World War. A photograph of a child wearing a Nazi uniform with a swastika on his arm was found at the same location.
