In the center of Ankara, the year-round fountain in Kugulu Park froze over due to the low air temperature. RIA Novosti reports.

It is noted that in recent days the temperature in the Turkish capital has dropped to minus 8 degrees at night. Workers help the swans and ducks living in the park by making ice holes and feeding them.

In May 2018, due to night frosts, city fountains in Russian Tomsk froze and became covered with snow. The reason was a cyclone, which brought heavy snow and cold winds. At night, the temperature dropped below zero.
