The fire is so large-scale that it is recorded by NASA satellites.

On the night of September 18, in the city of Toropets in the Tver region of Russia, UAVs attacked a large train with missiles. After this, a large-scale fire with a powerful detonation occurred.

Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak showed footage of the aftermath of the explosion.

The video shows how after the strike on the military facility a fiery “mushroom” grew, and tongues of fire lit up the night sky. The fire is visible several hundred meters away.

Local authorities claim that the fire was caused by “a UAV wreckage falling while repelling an attack by air defense forces.”

“In Toropka, Tver Oblast, a fire started as a result of a UAV wreckage falling while repelling an attack by air defense forces. All emergency services and the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Tver Oblast have left for the scene, and work to localize the fire is continuing,” said the region's governor, Igor Rudenya.

Due to the attack, the local population is being evacuated, as the authorities said, “from the territory where air defense is operating and the fire is being localized.”

The fire is so large-scale that it is being recorded by satellites NASA.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not mention the Tver Region in its morning report.

Recall that the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Preventive Measures reported that missiles were stored in a warehouse in Toropets and a stockpile of North Korean KN23s was created.
