A large-scale fire occurred at the Ukhtomsky plant in Lyubertsy, Moscow Region, on August 15. Previously, agricultural and military equipment were manufactured there.

Russian mass media and Telegram channels reported this.

The fire at the Ukhtomsky plant engulfed 3,500 square meters of territory. About 80 emergency workers and 24 units of equipment, as well as a Ka-32 helicopter from the Moscow Aviation Center, are extinguishing the fire. An Mi-26 helicopter was also dispatched to the scene.

Russian propagandists claim that the plant is currently not operating, and its premises are leased to private firms.

The Lyubertsy Ukhtomsky plant was founded in 1902. Agricultural and military equipment were manufactured there. In particular, “Buks”, “Pantsirs” and S-300.
