A train disaster was averted by cutting off the power supply.
A construction company's drilling machine was working along a subway line in the Turkish city of Istanbul , accidentally broke through the ceiling of the tunnel and reached the rails.
This was reported on Saturday, January 20, by Sozcu TV, publishing the corresponding video.
The published footage shows how the drilling machine, having broken through the ceiling of the tunnel, descended onto the subway tracks and continued to make revolutions.
Disasters as a result of this incident were succeeded avoided at the last moment by stopping the train moving through this tunnel by cutting off the power.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Transport said that repairs to the tunnel after the incident have been completed.
Let us remind you that in Kyiv, new damage was recorded in the passage of the Svyatoshin metro station, which opened after a major renovation in 2019.
